Overview
Role: Manager of Continuous Improvement responsible for enhancing operational performance through Lean methodologies and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Develop, deploy, and mentor staff in Lean and Six Sigma tools and problem-solving techniques.
- Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with leaders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and track KPIs.
- Support change management and stakeholder alignment for process initiatives.
- Manage system enhancement requests, gather requirements, and maintain tracking systems.
- Facilitate prioritization, scoping, and feasibility assessments for feature development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree in Engineering, Business, Science or related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in process improvement roles, with proven Lean/Six Sigma deployment.
- Strong change leadership skills in complex, high-volume environments.
- Expertise in Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Jidoka, and Problem Solving.
- Experience leading teams, coaching, and motivating without direct authority.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and EHS standards.
- Proven ability to develop tactical plans aligned with strategic goals.
