Overview
We are seeking a Lead Embedded Software Test Engineer (Optical Space Systems) to develop and lead testing software for complex space-based imaging payloads.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing test software throughout the software lifecycle, integrating and testing embedded flight systems, and supporting test plans, procedures, and documentation.
The role involves leading small test teams, providing technical guidance, refining requirements, and handling complex testing areas including automation infrastructure.
Qualifications require a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with at least 9 years of relevant experience (or 7 years with a graduate degree, or 13 years without a degree).
Experience in aerospace system testing, embedded processing, and tools like LabView, MATLAB, and Simulink is essential.
Preferred skills include active TS/SCI clearance, knowledge of space domain applications, DevOps tools, image processing hardware, and open architecture standards.
