Overview
Role: Automation Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced automated and robotic equipment in a high-tech distribution center.
Key Duties: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and diagnose mechanical and system issues to minimize downtime. Monitor equipment performance, identify potential problems, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability, quality, and efficiency. Share technical knowledge and develop team skills, taking ownership of equipment areas and designing solutions for system performance.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of industrial mechanical or technical experience, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment such as conveyors, motors, pumps, and robotics systems. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, along with proficiency in hand and diagnostic tools. Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, teamwork, and communication skills essential.
