Overview
Role: Maintenance Worker / Building Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of commercial facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to routine maintenance requests and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, doors, windows, and fixtures.
- Conduct inspections and perform monthly rooftop HVAC maintenance, including filter changes.
- Use hand tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely to make repairs.
- Coordinate with vendors for complex repairs and report major issues to leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with occupants, clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building, facilities, or industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Proficient with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to work safely at heights and on rooftop equipment.
- Strong communication skills and safety commitment.
- Preferred experience with CMMS or Preventive Maintenance systems and technical training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
