Role Overview:
As a Plant Technician, you will support manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed equipment to ensure smooth production flow, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities include running converting and packing machinery, performing preventive maintenance, controlling processes via computer systems, and maintaining accurate records. Opportunities for growth include expanding into electrical, quality assurance, safety, and leadership roles.
Qualifications & Skills:
Candidates should be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, able to communicate in English, and comfortable working around high-speed equipment and in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 pounds, using hand/power tools, and working on ladders or in confined spaces.
Work Environment & Compensation:
Work may include weekends and rotating shifts, with hours ranging from 8 to 12 per day. Starting pay is $26.72 per hour. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous skill development.
