Overview
Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, full staffing, and adherence to company standards and goals.
Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory, validate received products, oversee stocking and production tasks, and ensure product quality and safety. Maintain product knowledge, execute sales promotions, and communicate plans effectively.
Handle scheduling, labor control, and payroll within company policies. Develop and monitor department goals, forecasts, and performance metrics. Ensure a clean, safe, and attractive department following food safety and safety guidelines. Participate in meetings and implement strategies to meet KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED; retail experience preferred, supervisory experience desirable. Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus.
Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in varied environments. May involve exposure to weather conditions and moderate noise. Travel may be required.
