Seeking a temporary construction inspector for a 4-6 month assignment in Anne Arundel and Cecil County.
Perform field inspections, observe construction activities, and document work on roads, structures, and facilities. Conduct tests on soils, asphalt, concrete, and other materials, and respond to data requests. Participate in traffic control and other project-related activities. Obtain MARTCP certifications (Concrete, Soils & Aggregates, HMA, Pavement Markings) and NICET certification in Highway Inspection. Complete daily reports, progress photos, force account records, and maintain a construction sketchbook. Assist in reconciliation of pay quantities and attend meetings including change order negotiations and schedule meetings. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work nights and travel as required. This is a full-time position.
