Overview

Role: Electrical Engineer specializing in system design and integration for military and commercial aircraft.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels, using CAD tools.
  • Research, prepare engineering drawings, and coordinate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure cost-effective, compliant designs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2-5 entry-level design engineers, breaking down requirements, managing work packages, and providing technical guidance.
  • Support testing and integration of systems on aircraft platforms, working on avionics, RF, LAN, sensor, power distribution, and electrical loads.
  • Learn and adhere to technical process specifications and design methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 2 years, or 10+ years of experience without a degree.
  • Ability to travel to aircraft environments and obtain/maintain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Preferred: experience in defense aerospace, CAD/PLM software (NX, Teamcenter, Siemens Capital), systems integration, leadership, and familiarity with aircraft systems.
  • Active secret security clearance is a plus.
