Overview
We are seeking a motivated Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify security needs for IS and Network Environments in line with cybersecurity standards.
- Design security architectures and develop cybersecurity-enabled products for these environments.
- Integrate and implement security measures, including Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
- Develop and apply security designs for network systems, ensuring hardware, OS, and software meet cybersecurity requirements.
- Implement network security measures ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Create interface specifications, recommend vulnerability mitigations, and support FBI-directed cybersecurity solutions.
Qualifications include:
- Experience aligned with educational background, e.g., 14+ years with high school diploma, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CASP CE, CSSLP, or related security credentials.
- Familiarity with security tools like Nessus, IBM Guardium, NMAP, and similar applications.
- Knowledge of NIST RMF and ATO processes.
Preferred qualifications: Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
Security clearance: Must hold a current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and be willing to undergo a Polygraph.
Physical requirements: Ability to remain stationary, operate office equipment, access lab hardware, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
