Overview

Role: Network System Administrator (NSA) - I, responsible for supporting secure networks supporting sensitive activities and operational units in a full-time, on-site environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment and web/data applications.
  • Manage internet protocols, file servers, firewalls, security systems, and documentation.
  • Provide technical support to local customers, resolve system issues promptly.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, firmware updates, system configurations, and data backups.
  • Participate in planning meetings to prepare systems for operational use and testing.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of IT experience.
  • Must obtain DoD IAT Level II certification within 6 months (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA).
  • Applicable Windows certifications based on supported systems.
  • Preferred: SCI/SAP experience, knowledge of Windows Server, LAN/WAN, data backup, security standards, and cross-domain solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in dynamic environments with military and industry partners.

Clearance & Physical Requirements:

  • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility, access to SAP, and willingness for a polygraph.
  • Travel within the area of responsibility, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and perform mobility tasks within the office environment.
